We here at The Old Oyster Factory would like to take a moment to thank all of our valued customers for a great summer season.  We have thoroughly enjoyed serving all of our amazing guests, and we can't wait to see everyone again next year!

The summer has brought us so many wonderful memories, with the highlight being voted one of Open Table's Top 100 Scenic View Restaurants.   We pride ourselves on having one of the most beautiful waterfront venues on Hilton Head Island, and we are honored to be recognized for our one-of-a-kind atmosphere.

Just when the staff at The Old Oyster Factory thought they had seen Broad Creek from every angle, they got a whole new view of the marshland landscape courtesy of ZipLine Hilton Head! 

ZipLine Hilton Head is an exciting new activity on Hilton Head Island, where guests can enjoy an amazing outdoor eco-tour adventure through the island's massive pine trees and beautiful live oaks, while taking in breathtaking views of Broad Creek.

Thanks to some friends in "high" places - thanks Sam! -  the staff at The Old Oyster Factory was able to participate in this one-of-a-kind experience.  Not only was it an incredible day of soaring through the sky, but it was also an informative look at the nature and beauty of our island home.

The Old Oyster Factory, Red Fish And Alexander's Participate In Seafood Festival

 Together with our sister restaurants Red Fish and Alexander's , The Old Oyster Factory is pleased to be participating in the 5th annual Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival at Shelter Cove Community park.  This two day event kicks off on Friday, April 27th from 5pm-8pm with live music and entertainment, and picks back up on Saturday, April 28th from 11am-5pm.

This Hilton Head Island tradition is hosted by the David M. Carmines Foundation, and benefits several worthy causes including the American Cancer Society, the Island Recreation Center Scholarship Fund, and the M.D. Anderson Cancer Research Center.  This two day event will not only feature Hilton Head Island's best restaurants showcasing their finest seafood dishes, but also local chefs going head-to-head in an Iron Chef competition, a farmer's market, crab races, and a "Kids' Zone" for the little ones.

Kayakfest On Broad Creek Returns To The Old Oyster Factory

 The serene waters of Broad Creek have been a favorite destination for kayak enthusiasts on Hilton Head for as long as people have roamed the island.  You may have even seen a number of kayaks gliding across the water when dining at The Old Oyster Factory.  If you have ever wanted to experience kayaking for yourself, join us for Kayakfest on Saturday April 28th from 11am-2pm at The Old Oyster Factory.

Kayakfest is a festival of free kayak demonstrations, tours and clinics.  There will also be kayak trials, seminars and kayaking clinics held by a number of experts and Certified guides, with free kayak trials beginning at 11:00am.  An Introduction to Kayaking Clinic will be held every hour, followed by a seminar on kayaking equipment.

You will soon find that there is no better way to explore the breathtaking beauty of the Low Country, commune with nature, and spend a fun-filled day on the water than by kayaking on Broad Creek!  Kayakfest is the ideal way to experience this one-of-a-kind activity, on one of the most beautiful bodies of water on Hilton Head Island.
